Fellow Mitagators and Testers

Just letting you know the Association’s work on behalf of our members is ongoing. We have a new board and have already begun refreshing and updating our website as you can see. Please let us know your thoughts.

Our lawsuit with the State of Minnesota continues. At this time, the Association, along with Standard Water Control, is asking for a temporary injunction against a radon mitigation licensing law scheduled to go into effect on January 1st, 2019. We believe the law is fundamentally flawed and unfair because radon work in new homes is exempt from all fees and special licensing but not existing homes. It will serve to increase the cost for the installation of radon mitigation systems with no benefit for consumers or radon businesses.

We need your support to, once again, stop a law that is bad for homeowners and bad for the industry.

Please renew your membership today so we can move forward together.

We will continue with more updates as they happen on this blog.
